20/20 Follow-Up: Personalized Learning is 'PullED', not Pushed!

A learning experience is truly authentic, and a student is fully engaged when he or she is 'pulling' themselves through the learning experience. 'PullED', or pull-based education, is a conceptual framework for an instructional design approach based on flipping the dominant 'push-based' educational system upside down. This session will describe some of the different components of a pullED system as well as provide practical examples for designing pull-based lessons, courses, and entire schools. As the presenter says, "A passive recipient can be pushed, but it requires as active participant to pull!"
