Disproportionality, opportunity and achievement are some of the gaps that exist in our schools. One must confess that not knowing how we are shaped racially is a sign of privilege. This session will focus on tools necessary to deal with consequences of race and racism in schools, homes, and communities. One can live in a world where silence, white privilege, ignorance and fear can keep from engagement on topics of equity and diversity.
