Progressive growth means destabilizing traditional educational institutions. In this panel, we will explain how a shared pedagogical framework allows teachers across curricula to innovate and destabilize stodgy educational systems. By examining this framework from a high school English and Science curriculum, you will see the destabilizing moves, including mixing grades, grouping students and refining practices, that force teachers and students to grow through a higher level of awareness of student needs, intentions, and comfort zones.
