Often the myriad demands of establishing an innovative school challenge our capacity to plan for its long-term sustainability. Established in 2003, Valley New School has learned a great deal about maintaining an innovative learning culture, maximizing staff capacity, and building towards the future. In this session, learn tried and true practices (as well as a few mistakes to avoid) that help innovative schools deal with the big rocks of sustainability: maximizing capacity, strategic planning, financial future, and community presence.
