We know that learning can happen anywhere, but engagement is key for a deep and meaningful education. Creating the conditions for engagement in learning brings us to seminar topics you wouldn't usually see in a high school: zombies, Frank Lloyd Wright, Haiti, fly fishing... the list goes on and only gets more creative. This session will give a quick overview of of the progressive, inventive, interdisciplinary, multi-age, democratic, personalized, place- and project-based seminars offered at Clark Street Community School. Participants will leave with creative new ideas to take back to their schools and classrooms.
