Poverty is perhaps the greatest barrier to academic success. Yet some rare schools in America have managed to lift the achievement of even very poor students.  What these schools do and don't do is very instructive—for all schools.  In this session, I discuss in detail what I have learned from working with these elevating schools, lessons that can be applied in your own school.
