Alone we are good, but together we are great. As a place-based school, Clark Street Community School (CSCS) uses their community as a resource and context for learning. Community partners range from individuals to businesses to organizations and help them learn from and in our local area. Partnership opportunities range from co-designing/teaching seminars/workshops, hosting students for site visits, supporting internships, volunteering, or visiting as guest speakers. CSCS strives for mutually beneficial partnerships between their students and community contributors. Participants will learn more about how partnerships work at CSCS, some examples of partnerships in action, and leave with ideas, tools, and inspiration for making community partnerships a part of their school.
