This workshop enables teachers to learn about and experience engaging, hands-on learning activities designed to engage students and motivate them to learn and understand mathematics and science. The underlying learning processes were developed during a ten-year cycle of National Science Foundation grants that used the invention process as a catalyst for establishing a context for STEM training and twenty-first century manufacturing technologies to empower students to transform their ideas into real functional products.
