Come learn in this interactive Zoom videoconferencing session about how Northern Lakes Regional Academy students have developed a high altitude ballooning program to study driving questions about science, engineering, open source technologies, art, and mathematics. Particpants will learn about the results of numerous high altitude balloon launches which have led to both state and national recognition, as well as to motivating students to develop deep driving questions around science and technology. You will see how you can develop a similar program at your own school. No matter the grade level or your subject of interest, after this presentation, you will be convinced that every student should have a chance to participate in high altitude ballooning.
