Tapping the Power of Personalized Learning: A Roadmap for Change

The future for which we are preparing today’s learners is not our grandparents’, our parents’ or even our future. Life and career success increasingly requires the ability to learn, create and contribute – in short, to become one’s own best teacher.  The world is changing, but the way we educate learners has remained largely static.

Unless we commit now to change the experience of learners and the focus of learning, we risk preparing learners for a world that will no longer exist. This change will require more than one-dimensional reform and incremental improvement. Our challenge is to redesign the learning ecosystem experienced by most learners today. The question is how.

The Institute for Personalized Learning leads a national network of districts that are engaged in creating learning experiences that are focused to the individual student level. The Institute has developed a personalized learning model that is being practiced by more than 1,000 educators serving tens of thousands of students.

Join the Institute for a lively and engaging day filled with helpful information, real life examples, hands on activities, useful research and practical tools.  There is no better time to begin or continue your journey to prepare every learner to succeed in a future of rapid change, unpredictable challenges and unimaginable opportunities.
