STEM Breakout Session 3: From Transition to Transformation

What happens when students travel and transition from a Personalized Learning environment, to one that is a bit more traditional?  When looking at a district-level, transformation takes a bit longer to accomplish with success on a larger scale, than in a building, or with a program-model.  What if we took our old High School frameworks and let the students begin to drive the instructional transformations taking place, in order to best fit their learning needs?  With the growing presence of Personalized and STEM-focused programs across our country, some launching as early as Kindergarten, our students are coming out of Middle School owning their learning and asking the question, "How may I continue to pursue the Learning Pathway that I know works best for me?"  Join us, as we share the story of one such transformation and meet the leaders and students behind this radical change.
