As teachers when we think about school culture, our first thoughts are often about how we will create culture with our own students.  To create the most inspiring and sustainable school culture we need to think about how all of the adults will work together in collaboration, to build and sustain the culture as a community.  Once established, an excellent school culture is vulnerable to outside forces creating an innovation collapse, which can happen quickly and result in significant change. This session will focus on three areas:  1.  Creating a school culture as a community, identifying essential elements and tools.  2. Growing and sustaining school culture, from orientation to ownership.  3.  When culture becomes toxic and endangered, prevention strategies and interventions that heal and restore.
